If you are a user of Avast Security Software then it may be possible that you face this err_spdy_protocol error while using certain websites. So now of you are using this security software then you can add those websites in the Web Shield exclusion of this software. For this, you have to follow some steps:

- Go to settings in the Avast security software.
- Select active protection tab.
- Go to ‘customized web shield protection’.
